Scenic designer passionate about live performance in arts and entertainment, he was born in Mexico, where he began his career in theatre before migrating to the United States. His work spans off-broadway, regional and international work, blending traditional and experimental forms incorporating international practices. He currently leads the graduate scenic design program at the University of Texas at Austin and works as a freelance designer.
