How do I book a course?

Browse our course listings, choose your preferred class, and click “Reserve Your Class Spot”. You’ll select a time slot from the available options. Our team will review your request and send a confirmation email with payment instructions.

Is my spot guaranteed once I select a time?

Not yet! Your spot is only secured after you receive a confirmation email from one our official accounts (@skene.pub) and complete payment.

How will I know my booking is confirmed?

You’ll receive a confirmation email from with your class details, payment confirmation, and any preparation notes. If you don’t see it, check your spam or promotions folder.

How do I pay for a course?

Once your booking is approved, we’ll send you secure payment options via email. We never request payment through unofficial channels or personal accounts.

Do you accept University Purchase Orders?

Yes. We frequently partner with university departments. We can process payments via P-Cards, Purchase Orders, or institutional invoices. Contact admin@skene.pub to set up Skene as a vendor for your school.

What payment options do you accept?

Details for each method will be included in your confirmation email. Once your booking is confirmed, you can pay using any of the following secure options:

  • Zelle (U.S. accounts only)
  • Bank transfer (domestic or international)
  • Venmo (US only)
  • Check (must be received at least 3 business days before your class date)
Can these workshops be customized?

Absolutely. While we have a “menu” of standard masterclasses, we can tailor the focus of any session to align with your specific course goals or production needs.

Is there a student discount for individuals?

Our “Pay-What-You-Can” model ensures that no student is turned away for lack of funds. Simply select the tier that fits your current situation at checkout.

What is the Pay-What-You-Can option?

Some classes on rotation are offered under our Pay-What-You-Can scheme. If the class you’re booking qualifies, you’ll see this noted in its description. You’ll be able to choose an amount that works for you from the suggested range provided in your confirmation email.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as soon as you see a time slot that works for you—our classes have limited spots and fill up quickly. Classes cannot be scheduled more than 60 days in advance.

Can I reschedule my course?

Yes, but we require at least 48 hours’ notice before your scheduled time to reschedule without penalty. Your new class schedule is contingent on availability, but we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

What if I can’t find a time slot that works for me?

Check our Upcoming Workshops calendar or join our mailing list to be notified when new dates are added.

How do I avoid scams?

Only trust communications from official @skene.pub email accounts. We will never request payment through social media DMs, personal accounts, or unfamiliar email addresses.
