Nadezhda Bojalil (Mexico, 1984) graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s degree in Acting from the Escuela Nacional de Arte Teatral (ENAT). She was a finalist for the Gerardo Mancebo del Castillo National Young Playwriting Award (2011) and a playwriting fellow at the Fundación para las Letras Mexicanas (2012–2014), where she studied under acclaimed playwright David Olguín.
She is the author of nearly ten staged plays, including Mujc y los niños del bosque de niebla, selected by Mexico’s Children and Youth Theatre Program for professional co-production and presented at Teatro El Granero. In addition to her work as a playwright, she has published both dramatic and children’s literature and continues to develop projects in theater, fiction, and dramatic writing.
This workshop is designed for anyone interested in writing for the stage, even if you’ve never tried before.
