Skene Launches 2025 Giving Tuesday Campaign to Support Global Performing Arts Journalism

Austin TX — November 30, 2025 — Skene announces the launch of its 2025 Giving Tuesday Campaign, supporting independent arts journalism and expanding visibility for artists around the world. The campaign invites audiences, collaborators, and cultural institutions to invest in Skene’s mission of documenting performance with depth, equity, and global reach.

This year’s initiative directs funding toward artist features, multilingual access, educational resources, and Skene’s NEW TALENTS and DIARIES programs. At a time when arts journalism faces deep cuts, Skene’s Giving Tuesday effort helps preserve the stories, processes, and labor of theatre-makers, designers, dancers, choreographers, and multidisciplinary creators across continents.

“With this campaign, we aim to deepen our commitment to accessible, artist-centered storytelling,” said Josafath Reynoso, Founder and Chief Editor. “Giving Tuesday allows our community to directly support the voices shaping the future of global performance.”
